Compression boots have come on the market over the last few years which are popular with top athletes for recovery from strenuous workouts and activities. Compression boots provide compression to the legs by increasing blood flow which helps the removal of metabolic waste. This reduces inflammation, muscle soreness, and promotes tissue repair. I have found that they are also great for everyday use for improving lymphatic flow and reducing inflammation or stasis in the legs and ankles.

By relaxing and compressing the muscles, your blood and lymph are forced through your vessels and pushed back towards the heart and excretory organs to be released. It’s very relaxing and expedites recovery from day to day activities or strenuous athletic activities which can cause a build-up of lactic acid and wastes in the muscles, blood and lymph.
